RTV silicone coating for insulator is based on organic silicone rubber and is prepared under clean, dry and oxygen isolation conditions using new technologies and processes such as W. RTV silicone coating for insulator is suitable for use in AC and DC systems where the nominal voltage is higher than 1kV and under dirty conditions. It is mainly used in power system substations, transmission and distribution line insulators and power plant booster stations, as well as chemical, steel, electrified railways, mines and all dirty, foggy and humid environments, to improve the external insulation level of equipment and prevent flashover accidents.
It is recommended to apply RTV insulator silicone coating under power outage at -30℃~+50℃ by qualified professionals. If the paint is not used up once, it should be covered tightly and kept closed for the next time.
